About Us
Den Mothers’ mission is to help the less fortunate with an emphasis on hungry, abused, and trafficked children who need support, rehabilitation, and encouragement. Lord willing our goal is to eventually have a Den Mothers facility in every state starting with Nevada so we can provide shelter, food, and clothing to children … the most innocent in our communities. Den Mothers would also support and provide for abused women, pregnant or run-away teens, homeless veterans, and all those in need.
Launching in Las Vegas
One out of four children in Southern Nevada experience food shortages and food insecurity. According to a recent report from a national nonprofit network of food banks, “Food insecurity in Nevada ranks among the most severe in the nation and is projected to have the second-highest rates of children in very low food security households.” Thousands of children go without meals over the weekend and wait until they return to school to get the government provided meals. Not only do we have a need in our valley to provide for needy children, but there are thousands of less fortunate in our valley who need food and clothing. We would love to not only reach thousands of children, but also the homeless community which includes so many of our precious Veterans.

Founder & President
Stephanie L. Phillips is the founder and president of Den Mothers. For decades Stephanie has supported many children’s charities as her way of giving, but she’s always wanted to do more! She had a dream one day to create a non-profit and have a facility where she could take care of those in need.
In 2014 she bought the domain name “DenMothers.org” in hopes and anticipation that one day she would get her dream off the ground. She intended to start Den Mothers when she retired and spend her retirement years taking care of children and the less fortunate. However, seeing the huge need for the basic necessities for so many just in Las Vegas alone motivated Stephanie to launch Den Mothers now!
